How Do I Get SCHOOL-WIDE & Class Announcements/Updates??
For school-wide and class announcements/updates we use:
Schoology (Lower School and class announcements)
Toddle (Upper School and class announcements)
Our Facebook page (mostly school-wide), which also loads to the bottom of our website homepage.
Our website www.sejongacademy.org (mostly school-wide)
It is the family’s responsibility to either set-up Schoology or Toddle notifications to be sent to their email or phone OR check Schoology, Toddle, Facebook or our website regularly for school-wide and class announcements.
OPTIONS FOR A SCHOOLOGY ACCOUNT
Parents may either setup (1) their own Schoology account (recommended if you have more than one child) or (2) use their child’s logon information (Sejong email and password) to get into Schoology.
EMAIL and TEXT NOTIFICATIONS
A parent account can be setup to receive both email and text notifications.
A student account can be setup to receive email notifications to the student’s Sejong email account and text notifications to a parent’s cell phone.

SETUP A PARENT ACCOUNT
If you would like to setup a Schoology parent account, please email jschae@sejongacademy.org with your name and your student’s names and grades. We will email you once your email has been given Schoology access. Then click on these instructions to setup your text and email notifications.
How Do I Check My Student’s Grades and Attendance?
Go to sejong.schoology.com OR get the app on your phone/device
Login with your parent account . If you need to setup a parent account, please email jschae@sejongacademy.org

Note: Grades for PreK are not kept in Schoology. Also, PreK-5th grade does not use the course materials section in Schoology, they use Google Classroom.

Unanticipated School Cancellation and Early Dismissal
On occasion during the winter months, weather conditions may necessitate cancelling a school day or ending school early. Sejong Academy is committed to keeping our community informed of weather-related school cancellations and early dismissals as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
Note: Due to logistical issues, in no case would Sejong Academy have a late-start.
When will we find out?
The decision to cancel school will be made & communicated by 7:00 a.m.
The decision to close early will be made & communicated by 10:30 a.m.
