Winter is coming fast and our kids are growing even faster! Before you head to the store for new winter gear, come to Sejong and take part in our Winter Clothing Swap! Bring your outgrown stuff and switch it out for something that fits!

HOW IT WORKS:
November 4-8: Drop off your clean, gently used winter gear to Sejong during school hours. The collection table will be in the back of the auditorium.
November 11-15: Items will be sorted in the auditorium and made available for you to bring home. Come anytime during school
* You do not need to donate items in order to take new items
* Any leftover items will be kept at Sejong for students to use later in the season
* Take as many items as you need!

IB MYP Program Candidacy
Sejong Academy is a candidate school* for the Middle Years Programme. It is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education -that Sejong Academy believes are important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.

BREAKFAST & LUNCH
Sejong Academy has been approved to serve free breakfast and lunch to all students under the Community Eligibility Provision with the Minnesota Department of Education.
Please let Sawlwin know if your child plans to eat breakfast and lunch.

Logistics for Parents
The school is located in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of St. Paul at 1330 Blair Avenue N., St. Paul, MN 55104.
According to Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.88 Subdivision 1, Sejong Academy is required to provide busing to students living two miles or more from Sejong Academy and within the bounds of St. Paul Public Schools (SPPS, the district within which we are located). Our busing provider is Safaari Transportation, Badaso Osman, Manager: 651-808-8676.
In addition to bus stops throughout St. Paul, Sejong Academy also has bus stops in Roseville, Woodbury and NE Minneapolis.
Student uniforms consist of a red or navy polo top and khaki or navy bottoms (pants, dress shorts, skorts, jumper). For more information, the school uniform policy is here.
