Location

The school is located in our newly renovated building in the Hamline-Midway neighborhood of St. Paul at 1885 University Ave. W., St. Paul, MN 55104. Our new building has an HVAC system that exchanges the air seven times per hour.

Bussing

According to Minnesota Statutes, section 123B.88 Subdivision 1, Sejong Academy is required to provide busing to students living two miles or more from Sejong Academy and within the bounds of St. Paul Public Schools (SPPS, the district within which we are located). In addition to bus stops throughout St. Paul, Sejong Academy also has bus stops in Roseville, Woodbury and NE Minneapolis.

Pick-Up &
Drop-Off

Parents need to follow the Drop-Off & Pick-Up Map and the instructions when dropping off and picking up their student.

Drop-Off:

  • Times to drop off are between 8:30-9:00 AM at the main door.

  • Parents should enter the lot from the South Side or the entrance closest to Goodwill.

  • Parents can drop off in the area near the door and remain in their vehicles if they have eye contact with a Sejong staff member.

  • Parents are also welcome to park and walk students to the front door. Parents are not allowed to go directly to the classroom other than the first few days or by appointment.

Pick-Up:

  • Parents should enter from the South Side or the entrance closest to Goodwill.

  • We will call for 3:30 pickup students to come to the main door to be ready at 3:30 PM.

  • If there are changes to this time, please let the office know.

  • Parents can remain at or near their vehicles as long as there is eye contact with a Sejong staff member.

School Hours

REGULAR SCHOOL YEAR (NON-COVID-19 TIMES)

Monday - Thursday

  • 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM free before school care - temporarily suspended due to COVID

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM breakfast and preparation

  • 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM school hours

  • 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM free after school enrichment with bussing afterwards (starts September 7th, 2021. runs through May 2022. COVID conditions may impact the after school program.)

  • 5:00 PM – 5:15 PM free after school care

Friday 

  • 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM free before school care - temporarily suspended due to COVID.

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM breakfast and preparation

  • 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM school hours

Saturday

  • 9 AM - 12 Noon Free Saturday school. See school calendar for dates. Starts in October.

Uniforms

Student uniforms consist of a red or navy polo top and khaki or navy bottoms (pants, dress shorts, skorts, jumper). For more information, the school uniform policy is here.
